Hello Rabbi,
I wanted to ask, in a word, from the Rabbinate, but it sounds to me like it’s a bit easier for some people, God willing, to accept your position regarding prayers and other very significant parts of a Jew’s life.
But it is difficult for some to accept your secular approach to the Zionist movement. Why?
Ask them.
Sanhedrin 77:1
Rav Yehuda said, Rav said: The Israelites knew about idolatry that had no real basis in it, and they did not practice idolatry except to allow them to commit fornication in public.
I never understood these extrapolations.
What is the reason to apply this rabbi's article beyond the specific context in which he spoke?
Rav brought the extreme example that is supposedly the most unrelated to arabism and is an equally important offense in itself, and he revealed that at the root of things, everything is about the interests of the establishment of a religious order, so in easier places it is reasonable to assume that the motive is also the establishment of a religious order.
Here to fish’ here.
