Micro training

Hello,
We make sure to put lids in the microwave before we cook dairy or meat dishes.
Today we had a babysitter at home who heated dairy food without a lid.
I wanted to put it in the microwave for about an hour if the meaty coating was meaty.
I thought I could clean the microwave well by putting a cup of liquid soap in it and running it for a minute, thus sanitizing the microwave.

But I was trying to figure out if I need to wait 24 hours before the next use?
I tried to look for an answer online but to my surprise I couldn’t find a simple explanation of what to do.
I would appreciate an answer from the rabbi.

In my opinion, there is no need to do anything. The microwave can be set to dairy, and then it is only covered when heating meat food. This is the case with you. See a review here: https://ph.yhb.org.il/17-25-15/

Thanks for the reply.
It seems the answer is there.
But let's say I decided that the microwave is dairy but I want to convert it from dairy to meat so that I can cook meat without a lid
How do I prepare it and how long do I have to wait after preparing it?

Wait 24 hours before cooking (so that the taste will be spoiled) and not after. Clean, wait 24 hours and put a cup with soapy water (some say that just water is enough) and turn it on for a few minutes to boil and spread steam there.

Thanks for the answers.
1.
The rabbi wrote that you wait 24 hours and then another 24 hours.
I assume the rabbi means that you wait once for 24 hours and then clean and put a cup of water with soap.

2. If in between I waited I used the microwave this time with my milk but this time with a lid
Is the 24-hour count just from the initial operation without the lid?
Or from any additional action?
3. In a time of need, can I simply clean and put a cup of water without waiting 24 hours?

I didn't write it twice. I described and then summarized the process into its stages.
Yes.
Yes.
