Morality and Torah
Peace and blessings,
I recently had the opportunity to hear the Rabbi’s lecture – “Is Religious Postmodernism Possible?” Well, the Rabbi took a decidedly interesting path there and mentioned that he had written a review of Rabbi Shagar’s book “Broken Vessels.” I would be happy if the Rabbi could send or attach this file. The things sound interesting and, as the Rabbi himself noted during the lecture, due to the shortness of time, the Rabbi could not dwell too much on the subject.
Another question to which I would be happy to receive an answer or references from the Rabbi’s lessons or articles on the subject is how one should address the contradictions between commandments and values in the Torah and Sages’ words and universal moral values agreed upon by both gentiles and Jews. It is important for me to note that on this subject I have read many answers, including those by Rabbi Lichtenstein, Rabbi Shagar, and others. However, I felt that, similar to the words and the lecture, there is indeed a degree of no-sense in their words or a slight lack of dealing with the actual facts and more of a transmission of a general idea, each as he is. In any case, I would be happy to help on the subject.
thanks!

The topic will be discussed in detail in the trilogy that I have now finished writing and hope will be published soon.

Is there a target date for the book to appear in bookstores?
Not sure about the rabbi 🙂
For now, there is no decision on how to proceed. Now under review.
