More on God’s involvement in the world

Isn’t it clear that there is a certain involvement of God in the world, for the simple reason that the world has a purpose (moral and religious progress, the success of the Jewish people, the gathering of the exiles, the fulfillment of prophecies, etc.), and simply – in order for the purpose to come true, one cannot rely on nature and humans to reach it on their own, and from time to time one needs to give a push in the right direction?

It is possible but far from clear. It is possible to dictate large purposes in a statistical way (the law of large numbers), as seen in Rambam, p. 6, tel. teshuvah. See column 539 (and, I think, also 39).
