Moses and the prophets?

שו”תCategory: philosophyMoses and the prophets?

What does the rabbi think about the claim that Moses’ existence is undermined by the fact that he is not mentioned in the prophets who preceded the Babylonian exile, even when dealing with the laws of the Torah, and in the founding stories of the people of Israel? In these books: Habakkuk, Hosea, Isaiah, Jeremiah, Jonah, Zephaniah, Micah, Nahum.

Questionable. Why would they mention him?

This is not even that true. Jeremiah mentions Moses: “If Moses and Samuel stood before me, I would not have this people, send them out of my sight, and they shall go”
Jonah Nahum Habakkuk and Zephaniah 3 pages in the Bible, each book shines. Micah 6 pages.

You are left with only “vision” of Isaiah and Hosea, which is also a small book.

It is so that Moses would not be Jesus, but after the cooling off period it is more in. To this day, the term "Mishra" is less mentioned.

Isaiah also mentions Moses (Isaiah 33:11, with a double meaning).

That's right. I remembered: "Where is Moses and his people, where is the one who turns away the water..."
