Mysticism
Hello Rabbi
Is there any basis for the Zohar and the books of Kabbalah? The stories there about all the souls and reincarnations sound illogical to me, and by the way, is reincarnation something that can be proven at all?

Reincarnation appears in several places in the Zohar.
For example in Parashat Mishpatim:

For example:
The Gilgols that are mentioned in this verse are so great and lofty that the mountains of all souls are gathered in Gilgol, and the sons of men do not know the ways of the Holy One, blessed be He. How the scales stand and how the sons of men are judged every day and at every time, and how the souls They are gathered together for judgment until they come into this world, and how will they be gathered together for judgment after they leave this world.
Or
How many wanderings and how many hidden deeds does the Holy One, blessed be He, do? How many unclean souls, and how many unclean spirits walk in the world that is not gathered to the king's palace, and how many worlds are overturned by them, and the world that is overturned by how many hidden wonders, and the sons of men do not know And they do not watch, and how the souls roll like a stone in the palm of the hand of the spear, as it is said, And the souls of your enemies will be shot within the palm of the hand of the spear. (And since we have begun to discover) Now it is revealed that the mountains of all the souls from the great and mighty ram, which is the river that comes out of Eden, will come out, and all the spirits from another small tree will come out. The soul is from the air and the spirit from the breath, and they are joined together as one, like a male and a female. And when they are joined together as one, then they shine the light of the heavens, and at the union of the two of them is called a lamp. The lamp of the Lord is the soul of man. What is a lamp? The lamp is the spirit and the breath. And at the union of the two of them as one is called a lamp, which is written (from the union) the lamp of the Lord. Human soul.
