What’s the problem with committing transgressions between a person and a place during the year, since the solemnity of Yom Kippur atones?

First, there is controversy over this. Second, even if the day of atonement is the day of atonement, there are opinions that sacrifices are also necessary. And third, there are several levels of atonement. If someone has repented and all the differences in atonement have not been met, their atonement still has value. If they have repented for transgressions, they are afflicted and do not atone without it. And at this time, when they are not afflicted, they apparently atone even without flogging (the sages disagreed about this in the ordination controversy). In short, atonement is a concept that encompasses several meanings. And of course, there is always a chance that it will not reach the yukk. I hope you come and that everything goes well. Happy New Year.

I wonder why our Rabbi did not simply answer what you said in the Mishnah: I will sin and Yom Kippur atones, Yom Kippur does not atone.??

You're right. But the Mishnah deals with someone who sins from the beginning in order to atone. But the question wasn't specifically about one of those. The question wondered why sins or trying not to sin have any meaning at all.
