As I understand it, it is a collection of spiritual intuitions, some of which are good and useful. I don’t think there is any real indication that it was given from above at any point, and therefore it has no authority, but there is certainly something to learn from it. In short, respect it and be suspicious of it. Usually when something is called “Kabbalah” it is a sign that there is great doubt as to whether it has indeed been accepted and accepted from above. Just as names like “Union of Groups and Kibbutzim” or “Unified Kibbutz” are a clear sign that the main thing missing there is unity and unity. Likewise, a Beit Midrash that constantly talks about tradition and the prohibition of deviating from it (like Brisk) is a sign that their path has no source in tradition. Likewise, a B”M”d that constantly talks about the importance of using real Ta’H (Mount Myrrh) is evidence that they too invent their path out of thin air and have no real source in tradition. And in the books of Chaim Grada you can see that Atlas Zemach, who constantly pursues those who have forbidden thoughts and desires (heresy and passions), is actually suffering from this himself (as opposed to the Chazo”a who was completely peaceful in his attitude towards these phenomena), and much more on this path.

And according to the sign that much talk on a subject indicates its lack. It should be suggested that someone who talks all the time about ‘rationality– is not a rationalist 🙂
