On Rabbi Berland, the prohibition of touching without lust and the faith of the righteous
Recently, interviews were published in the religious press (and also published in lectures and booklets) by several senior followers of Rabbi Berland who explicitly and openly claim that what
Many of them, on their own initiative, kiss women without any trace of lust and are done solely for the purpose of encouragement and reinforcement or to bestow abundance from the righteous according to the secret, and therefore there is no problem with this and it is permissible because it is intended for the sake of the Lord.
This is causing enormous confusion regarding “keeping in touch.” Is sex without desire indeed permitted?
Is this permissible for a righteous and elderly person? And is there any permission for this according to Kabbalah?
And if this is forbidden, then how does such a famous righteous man act in this way, and this makes one reflect on him and question him?

I don’t know if this is a provocation or an innocent question. This “famous tzaddik” is indeed famous, at least today. How tzaddik is he? Allow me to doubt. Rabbi Sheinberg of Safed was also known as a famous tzaddik.
The fact that Man Dehu has several followers, and in particular the senior ones (who appoints followers there to be “senior” followers? Maybe the same committee that appoints the “Great Judge” or “Elder of the Kabbalists”) among them are such idiots, indicates how much can be learned from the followers’ admiration for the greatness of their rabbi.
As for the actual halachic question of whether acts of affectionate touching are forbidden if there is no lust in them, the poskim have already disagreed, and so on. But either way, it must be said that this is far from ugly. Whoever did this in any way, not according to Kabbalah or anything else, is not righteous, but either corrupt or an idiot (or both).
But if all this has made you ponder famous righteous people, we’ve already gained something from it. Perhaps these depraved acts were worth it to correct this correction of admiration for “righteous people” (and for righteous people without quotation marks. Admiration is always undesirable).

Daph”H– Righteousness, Your Honor, does not bear any face!
Admiration is not desired at all, even for the Creator of the world!
Admiration for humans, especially for the wise among them, leads to pride, and we must not encourage this. However, there is one thing that is permitted: For if in this the one who boasts glories – the intellect and the knowledge of me… —- The goal: So that you may be wise in everything you do..

Your Honor, you should be In the Sanhedrin – Head in the Sanhedrin! (Don't be proud because of this saying) (:
