As a 21-year-old Jewish convert, would you recommend that I go to a university or any other institution to get a certificate for future work? Or would you recommend that I go to a yeshiva and combine work with it, or not at all?
I believe and I have many questions that I have already asked on the site. I have many questions about contradictions that I do not understand.

Hello Daniel.
I would recommend that you take care of your future. When and how depends on you and your financial and other circumstances, so it’s hard for me to say anything general about the subject. If you can now devote years to studying in a yeshiva to build yourself up, that can always be beneficial, but the option of doing this simultaneously with your studies and professional training also exists.

Forgive me for asking this question like this; isn't worrying about the future heresy?
In other words, anyone who speaks in a whisper and asks what will happen tomorrow doesn't really trust it.
In addition, the more I learn from the wisdom of the sages, the more it becomes apparent that most jobs and professions today are against their will compared to the simple crafts that the sages did.

On the 19th of Shvat, the sages did not only deal with simple crafts. Shmuel was an expert in medicine and astronomy, as was the Rambam and the Ramban.

Today, there are places where one can learn a high-level, profitable profession in a Torah-based atmosphere and framework, with a “seder” and lessons at the yeshiva level, such as the “Higher School of Technology” Lev Institute, founded by Rabbi Prof. Ze’ev Lev, who was a great physicist and scholar.

There are also Haredi centers that provide academic-level training in required professions, which can be studied in parallel with studies in the yeshiva.

With best wishes, S.C. Levinger

These things seem very logical, why doesn't the state put this into law?
