Penguins in Biblical times

שו”תCategory: generalPenguins in Biblical times

It’s interesting to know how Noah managed to reach Antarctica, collect a pair of penguins and put them on an ark, all from his home in the Middle East.
How did he get there? How did he collect the penguins?
And maybe there were no penguins at all at that time? It is clear that the Bible was written by a person who lived in the Middle East, and therefore it only mentions animals that could be found in the Middle East…

Did you think that maybe Noah also lived in the Middle East and therefore the animals he collected were from the Middle East? Beyond that, I’m not sure that this is a factual description.

So where did the penguins come from if they weren't on the ark?
My basic assumptions are:
1. The creation of the world was a one-time event (assuming there was a creation of the world)
2. All the animals that exist today had to be on the ark, otherwise they wouldn't exist today. Of course, one pair of each animal species.
3. The flood was all over the earth.

Assumption 3 is not necessarily true. In any case, neither is 2. And this is even assuming that this is indeed a historical description. In addition, there is also evolution, as we know, that is how things are created and develop.

It doesn't make sense. In Genesis it is explicitly written that all the birds were in the ark, a penguin is a bird. It also says that the rain was on the whole earth, there was not a single place that was not covered by water. Did the penguins dive under water for tens to hundreds of days (as the Bible says about the length of the flood)?

It is possible that this refers to all the birds from the area there. And so there was no place in the area there that was not covered. There are claims that the flood was not all over the world, and I do not think that this is necessarily hidden from the Bible. All of this is assuming that the story actually happened and is not an educational myth.

It is impossible to assume that this is an educational myth, as this means that it is impossible to distinguish within the Bible what is myth and what is not. What is truth and what is not.
It is not written at the beginning of the story, so we can either accept the Bible 100% or not.
By the way, it is interesting that the animals on the ark were the same animals from the area where the story took place – the Middle East. Which shows that the story was written by a person who lived in the Middle East, and not by God.

Well, I don't have much to do with statements. In my opinion, this is complete nonsense. Nothing needs to be written because it doesn't really matter whether it was or not. The main thing is the message it is intended to convey.
And at the end of your words you repeat an argument that I have already answered.
I think I'm done.
