Postponement of wedding

Hello Rabbi.
I wanted to know what you think about postponing a scheduled wedding. (Not for a very important reason, like fishing because of the coronavirus..)
I’m not asking from an economic perspective, of course, but rather whether it’s appropriate? I heard that Israel didn’t do this for reasons of private oversight of the date, mystical reasons of one kind or another… What do you think of that?
Thank you.

I don’t think there are any mystical matters. You need common sense, and that’s all. It is of course advisable not to postpone what has been decided, and it is also not advisable to postpone your institutionalization after a decision has already been made. But if there are circumstances that justify it – I see no problem with postponing.

I didn't understand. Do you think there is any *religious* / theological reason not to postpone a wedding?
