Pray with the Cantor of Breslov

שו”תPray with the Cantor of Breslov

Peace and blessings, Honorable Rabbi Yashar Kawh, for the wonderful site. I find it very helpful and enjoy the insightful answers!
Is it permissible to begin with and is there no problem in praying with a public emissary who is from Breslov, because I heard firsthand from an Abrevet who studies in the kollel of a great Kabbalist from Jerusalem (many rabbis testify to him being a great Kabbalist) who said that he is careful in the minyan he prays that there be no one from Breslov Hasidism because all the prayer goes to the satra achra and he does not agree to talk about Breslov in his kollel because it is idolatry.
The Breslov re-repentants say that Rabbi Nachman corrects souls, and whoever comes to him on Rosh Hashanah, Rabbi Nachman brings him to justice. They say that Rabbi Nachman does penance for them. Some people from Breslov say that the Creator of the world descended into the world in the body of Rabbi Nachman.
According to the laws of the Rambam, idolatry is definitely idolatry.
I live in the city of Bat Yam and in the area where I live there are fresh, sleepwalking Breslov Ba’al Teshuvah with corrupted views, but not every fresh Ba’al Teshuvah is like that and I don’t know what every Breslov Ba’al Teshuvah thinks.
Thank you very much.

Shalom Rav. As long as they don’t pray to him, it’s not a “Z”. Both Chabad and Breslov have signs of a “Z”, but I don’t think they fall within this boundary. Although some of them may have crossed the line and truly pray to their Rebbe. If you have no other option, then you don’t need to avoid them. As for the wonderful Kabbalists you consult, I would refrain from it. Despite their determination and ultimate knowledge of the upper worlds, they have no way of knowing what happens with your prayer in such and such situations. The discussion is halakhic, not metaphysical. In short, it seems you are in an unwelcome environment.

Thank you very much for the answer, just one more request: Are there other synagogues in the area where I live that are not Breslav? Honorable Rabbi, is it better to go to a synagogue that does not have a Breslav cantor there, and thus not get into trouble?

I think it's definitely better, not necessarily for halachic reasons. If there's a regular synagogue for Baalbatim, that seems excellent to me.
