Does the rabbi say in prayer 18 the closing blessing, “For you hear the prayer of a voice here”?
Or do you think there’s no point?

definitely. And does he not hear? Beyond that, I have not categorically ruled out involvement. Otherwise, I would have canceled all the petition prayers even before hearing the prayer of each mouth.
