Hello Rabbi, in the context of the change in the prayer. There are sections in the prayer that I don't connect with and sometimes I even tend to disagree with what is behind them. Say them? And I'm curious, if the Rabbi knows, who are the people who added the sections in the prayers?
In practice, the process is conducted solely with Ashkenazi piyyutim.
Only a few piyyutim remain from the Ashkenazi Machzor, most of them on the days of the Dead. Today, in regular Shabbat prayers, it is difficult to distinguish between an Ashkenazi and a Sephardic minyan. Only one thing can be said: the Ashkenazim still pray for the peace of the head of the exile in Babylon together with the heads of the yeshivot (after all, everyone who leaves Babylon passes through the Lev).
