Hello Rabbi,
Prayer bores me and I don’t understand how you can read a text about it every day without getting bored.
Is there anything I can do to change this?

Take reading material for your free time (Chatrat Shachat, most verses of Dzimra).

And what about the time of Corona when it is impossible to pray in a minyan, simply to say what is halachically obligatory?

מיכי Staff replied 5 years ago

right

What is a halachic obligation and what is not?

מיכי Staff replied 5 years ago

The morning blessings and the Torah, the skeleton of the verses of the Zimra, the Knesset and its blessings, the Amidah and the Asherah and Kiddushah of the Dasdra. Even within these, there are things that are difficult to see as truly obligatory, but that is the skeleton.

The “skeleton” of the verses of Dzimra… sounds really scary

How do you think it is possible to fulfill the obligation of standing prayer? After all, you are not focused? Or you are focused on the first and last three, but you are not focused on the middle of the blessings?

I didn't understand the question.
