Preparation for the holiday

Hello Rabbi, I read the column about the needs following the coronavirus and a question came to me that is indirectly related. I wanted to ask how the Rabbi prepares for the holiday from a religious perspective (for the times of preparing the house and other foods), meaning there is a halakhic side of course, but does the Rabbi see a possibility of preparing mentally, and if so, I would like to know how?
