Private supervision nowadays
Hello,
As a student who heard lessons from the rabbi, and one who reads a little bit of his writings, I understood that in your opinion, in general, there is no concept of private supervision today.
I wanted to refer the rabbi to the words of Professor Levani, who presents a similar position with an interesting explanation. He claims that as long as the people were connected to the written Torah and would suck the Torah and the deeds from there, there were prophets and providence. From the time the Torah ‘came down’ to humans, ‘it is not in heaven’, then the world returns to behaving like humans. Of course, these things are at the end of a word. See the Wikipedia entry David Levani, which is a little more extensive. I wanted to ask what the rabbi thinks about the analogy Levani makes between the written and oral Torah?
