What is your perception of the form of communication of the prophets from the first Adam to the last of the prophets, and what is the uniqueness of the prophecy of Moses?
There are many theories in the Bible in the form of voice, sight, consciousness, etc.
But it’s not entirely clear.

It’s likely not a sight but an imagination. Probably a visual imagination. But no one understands it and I don’t see much point in engaging in it.
