Providing incorrect data to customer clubs

There are stores that give various discounts to those who are in their “club”. I don’t want to give my phone and receive text messages from them and have their database hacked and my data leaked. Is it okay for me to give them fabricated details, join their “club” with it and receive the various discounts and promotions with it?
