question:
If a person comes to me with the Holy Spirit, on what issue must I listen to him?
If not, then why do we learn from the scriptures for practical purposes? They were spoken by the Holy Spirit, as explained in the book of Mora Nevuchim, Ch. 2:5.

I don’t know how you can know. But if you know, there is no obligation to obey, but it is worth doing so. There is an obligation only towards an authorized halakhic institution. The status of the scriptures is not because of the Holy Spirit, but because they were accepted as binding.
