Question about the lesson in Tractate Sukkah – Sukkah Trees
Hello Rabbi, I heard the lesson found on the website about Tractate Sukkah, regarding the issue of forbidden Sukkah trees.
A. Does the rabbi have a link to the lessons that were said on the entire chapter?
on. The Rabbi mentioned there the question of the pleasure of Yom Tov – how can a woman sit in a sukkah and how is it possible to sit in a sukkah when it is raining, and brought the excuse of the Kobsh – that when there is no obligation to have a sukkah, the sukkah does not exist at all. However, this only excuses the issue of rain – what about a woman who sits?

I watched the lesson on the recommendation of the rabbi. Thank you and I have a few comments.
1. He makes it difficult to enjoy the Yot custom of the great Rebbes who would sit in the Sukkah even in heavy rain (the Meiri also testifies to this about his rabbis). And his conclusion at the end is that someone who sits in the Sukkah fulfills a mitzvah but does not fulfill the will of the Lord and is even called a layman. So what does this say about the Rebbes?
2. The whole background to the lesson is how we receive reward in the next world. But maybe everyone who fulfills what he thinks is right to fulfill will receive a reward for it? Like these Rebbes.
3. The halachic discussion in itself is amazing.
1. I wondered about that too.
2. I definitely think so.
3. Indeed.
