Questions about economics and morality

Hey Miki
Some time ago I watched a television report made by an American team about a Coca-Cola factory in Mexico that pumps river water to produce Coca-Cola, leaving the residents with only murky water, and out of no choice, they drink Coca-Cola.
Since you are an ardent supporter of libertarian economics, I would like to know what you think about this matter?
And now something I tried:
A few months ago, I suffered greatly from weakness and dysfunction of my body’s thermoregulation system. In desperation, I went to an alternative therapist, because conventional medicine had nothing to offer me. The therapist treated me with Chinese acupuncture and herbal potions. During the treatment, he told me that I should stop eating garlic because it puts a lot of strain on the liver. I listened to his voice. And indeed, after 3 acupuncture treatments and 3 vials of potions, my physical fitness returned.
But after a while, my left calf swelled and hurt. The doctor prescribed me antibiotics, which did help. But about 10 days later, the calf swelled and hurt again. I decided to go back to eating garlic because it contains antibiotic substances, and it did help me right away!
I told the alternative therapist about this matter in a text message, and I began by saying that I remembered that I owed him more money [70 NIS], I had already put the money in my pants pocket.
The guy told me that it was impossible for garlic to help me, because garlic only treats stomach parasites. I told him that I had read many summaries of studies that proved that garlic has antibacterial and even antiviral properties, including HIV. And I suggested that he read these articles. I added that he, as a person caring for people’s health, should take responsibility and keep up to date with current research.
The guy didn’t even bother to answer me.
The money is still ready in my pants pocket. I’m not feeling well emotionally.
But since I think this therapist is being irresponsible, I’ll put the money back in my wallet.
Do you have a position on this matter?
All the best

If the water belongs to all residents, then it’s not right that they sold it to Coca-Cola. But if the water belongs to a private party that sold it to Coca-Cola, then there’s nothing problematic here. If I have an asset that others lack – I have the right to make money from it.

As for the therapist, if you went to him and committed to paying for his nonsense – you must pay. You should have understood in advance what alternative medicine is. Only if you think he was negligent in his method. It is ridiculous that you demand that he keep up to date. If he was committed to facts in any way, he should have studied medicine and not kept up to date with what everyone else does or doesn’t do. You went to an alternative therapist and you demand that he know facts? It’s like going to a sorcerer and demanding that he know quantum theory.
