Rambam – The Story of Genesis
Maimonides writes that “the act of creation” is Aristotle’s physics.
I understand that the Rambam considered natural science studies to be mandatory.
What about practicing medicine?
Did Rambam engage in this out of necessity for his preaching to make a living?
Is this included in the Genesis account?
What is the boundary of the Genesis account? Just a study of nature?

I have no idea. But I don’t see a difference between physics and life sciences. What’s the difference? Personally, I don’t think there’s any obligation in that, although it could fall within the bounds of Torah in a way.
