Ratio
I don’t know enough. From what I saw there, there were definitely valuable things. Of course there is an agenda there, so there is room for suspicion. But that is true for almost every website from any direction.
The site is mainly a collection of articles (mostly research) from journals. Even if you don't accept the articles of the site owner (which I think can also be good), the collection there is very useful in any case for those who don't have access to such materials.
There is no Israeli website that comes close to the amount of information in biblical and theological research as the Ratio website. It doesn't seem like there could be an equivalent in the next decade. This is a phenomenon for all intents and purposes – and as Rabbi Michi himself will testify – there are very few. When such a thing connects to the Internet – it is a privilege for all of us. May we be blessed
Gil, is the phenomenon Yehoshua Inbal?
There are even a few articles by Rabbi Michi there.
There is a big difference between the two. I don't know in terms of basic skills or the amount of accumulated knowledge, but there is a difference when you get closer and feel it. One deals with many small ideas, each of which has a lot of room for debate, and the other deals - at the core of his business - with a (relatively) few big ideas, each of which is supposed to be as solid as a stone. There is a well-known expression about the difference between a mountain and a minister: the closer you get to a mountain, the bigger it seems.
It doesn't seem like you could call this an in-depth study

I would suggest taking it with a grain of salt. The values organization he belongs to has been caught quite a few times in distortions and sometimes outright lies.
From the little I've seen, they draw problematic conclusions and often turn to the personal side in their articles.
You can find some discussions here on the site.
