Reading the Quran with comfort

In honor of Maran Shlita Michael, Minister of Israel.
Recently, I began to use my time in the synagogue to study Arabic. This evening, I sat down to read from the Safra Kadisha, the “Quran” for Muslims, in the synagogue, but as I did so, I wondered if this was not forbidden by the categorical imperative (just as I would feel bad if a Muslim were to read the Torah in the synagogue in order to learn Biblical Hebrew).
I eagerly await your response, which I am sure will be like cold water on a tired soul. Thank you (:
PS: The question was written with hands washed with burit and aloe vera soap, and immersed in a blessing in a mikveh (albeit without Shem and Malchut), as befits our rabbi.

I understand the uncomfortable feeling but I don’t see why it should be enforced. No one knows about it and therefore no one is harmed. And if someone does this to the Bible without anyone knowing, good luck to him. It’s no different from any other prohibition that we consider sacred to heaven and if he’s not afraid of it then good luck to him.
