Reason for the creation of the world
Hello,
Do you accept the explanation that God created the world for no reason?
If not – why not? Is it because everything needs a reason, including God’s actions?
thanks
Unlikely. Indeed, because it is likely that everyone who does something does it for some purpose. There is also a possible hypothesis for its purpose. Search here for completeness and completion.
It sounds like God is being attributed with actions and considerations like humans, where every action comes in order to achieve a result. Isn't it correct to say that we have no way of knowing what the answer to this is because we have no idea about anything beyond our world (God)?
I attribute a basic logic to every entity. It is not certain, but it is more likely that it has a reason than not. The burden of proof is on those who claim that there is none. What's more, it itself tells us that we have a mission (and it probably comes to achieve something).
