Regarding the prohibition not to wear

שו"תRegarding the prohibition not to wear

Peace, Your Honor,

Question regarding the prohibition against wearing a turban: What community's norms should be taken into account? Religious? Secular? Gentile? And from a legal perspective, will there be one accepted norm or is this commandment given in lessons and dependent on local custom?
I would be happy if the rabbi would cite a source or proof for his statement (if he explains it, then at least define it well).
And one more thing on this matter: Some have written (I don't remember right now) that the prohibition was intended to prevent mixing between women and men. Does this reasoning define the prohibition or does it belong to the realm of 'tema dakra' that does not affect halakha?

See Shulchan Yad Si' Kanu SA, that this depends on the custom of the place (the question of whether a garment is for a woman or not, generally does not depend on whether it is secular, gentile or religious). I have no evidence and do not need evidence. And even if you bring evidence, it is about as good as my explanation. These are the explanations of the poskim and nothing more. Regarding the prohibition of mixing, this is of course a ta'ama daqra. But as is known, in many cases the ta'ama daqra is used to define the prohibition.
