Regulation of the Four Countries Committee – Removal of a Bed in the Ugliness of the Mother

Can I make a partition (plywood or similar that separates the two beds into two compartments) instead of moving them apart?
I am an Ashkenazi Jew and assuming that the same regulation is binding on me by the formal authority that is created, will those regulations be accepted by the majority of my community at the same time?
