Religious exclusivity
Hello Rabbi,
I heard in your last podcast that you don’t believe in religious exclusivity (you’ve said this many times before). I asked how that fits in with your being a monist. After all, religions are based on factual claims (did God reveal himself, to whom, and what did he say, what does he expect from humans). Each religion contradicts the other in many ways. Perhaps you mean that only in terms of God’s relationship to man does he treat everyone who tries to keep his commandments to the best of his understanding the same way, but doesn’t God prefer those who truly fulfill his will and not just think they fulfill his will?
