Repentance
What is the Rabbi’s opinion on the following:
1. Fasting and verbal fasting in general and as a form of repentance in particular
2. Prayers of alms in general and repentance in particular Everyone today says that prayers of alms are forbidden because we cannot direct what sounds a little difficult, especially since the origin of the prayer is: “The prayer of my mercy is, all you have made of my flesh.”
3. What can be said in the prayer of alms and supplications, etc. Should we say, say, again, forgiveness/supplication, etc. (recycle relevant things from the siddur that were intended for specific times and say them)? I would appreciate any advice/idea if you have any, and also is there any problem right before Yom Kippur (say, on the eve of Yom Kippur)
Recycle as a prayer of charity in the noveb for personal things, of course, prayers and prayers from Yom Kippur/Yom Kippur Eve/Yom Kippur Eve offering

- I didn’t understand. What does it mean? What is my opinion? Is it appropriate to repent? If fasting benefits you in this, then great. If not, then there is no point in it.
- A. I understood the question.
- Again, whatever is beneficial to you. You can recycle whatever you want according to the rules of halakhah.

2. They say nowadays that it is forbidden to pray alms prayers because we fail to direct ourselves. Do you believe that it is really forbidden to pray? After all, part of the reason I want to pray is part of my repentance and therefore I offer alms prayer (of course adding personal things) and saying such a thing feels a bit absurd to me, especially considering my original taste in prayer, which is “prayer is my mercy, all that is left of my salvation” and therefore I feel a bit like I don't care about this “nonsense” that it is forbidden to pray alms prayers because my goal is to repent + pray to God, and it sounds silly to me to prohibit it.
3. What are the halakhic rules on the subject? Should we say that it is forbidden to say the 13 virtues? This whole concept also sounds delusional
I didn't understand what the absurdity is here. You want to repent, then repent. A prayer you don't mean is useless. If you are sure you do mean it, then please. Pray. But it is possible to repent even without almsgiving prayers, so I don't understand this whole strange discussion.
I want to say something very simple. Personally, it helps me a lot to pray a separate prayer, separate from the daily prayer, and this is part of the process of repentance. Now the question arises: is it permissible for me to pray 18 times a day or is it forbidden since I probably won't be able to direct everything? After all, my whole goal is to ask and beg and repent, and this is part of what will help me.
I also said something very simple. And it is written above.
I will be brief and ask again since you did not answer this: If I want to pray a prayer of charity (for the reasons I mentioned above) and I am not sure what I should aim for, am I allowed to do so?
