Do you think that communism/socialism in the Mapai style is a moral system? That is, beyond the discussion of whether it is a system that brings prosperity or not (of course not). Is the fact that the government controls everything and there is no property and everyone is equal, something that is morally reasonable?

If it’s forced, then in my opinion, no. With consent, of course, yes.

The old world mixed communism with social welfare
In social welfare there was prosperity and shared successes and government guarantees, there was no control over everything, there was private property, etc.
Although there was a full envelope that is less necessary today
In the years of the Renaissance it was probably the only recipe that allowed for everything
Maybe they stopped it too quickly and before its time
And maybe some of the activity for us today is a result of us giving up on comprehensive social welfare too quickly.
