Hello Rabbi Michi.
I don’t understand why Gamzo is being accused of wanting to ban travel to Uman. These things really remind me of the columns you wrote in the first wave about the attitude towards state directives.

Is that the only question you have about Porosh?

דוד replied 5 years ago

Rabbi Michi. I think it goes far beyond this or that MK. In my opinion, it represents a general approach that really fits the columns you wrote.

מיכי Staff replied 5 years ago

Yes, but what good is this example when the world is full of examples.

What's between an artist and a Balfour?!
Gamzo also proved to everyone that no one has a clue how to behave during Corona. Apparently we will just live with it and the elderly and those with underlying diseases will have to take care of themselves until a vaccine is found.
Any restriction on the cultural lifestyle of any society is a failure, and everyone in turn will cry out about it, sometimes it's the culture lovers and sometimes it's the general correction lovers, the only difference between this here on the site and the other places that only criticize the Haredim of all their shades is not because of Corona, but Corona serves as a trigger.

Tam. Attached is an article on a Haredi website. Read the letter that Gamzo sent to the Ukrainians and honestly say if this is incitement. It hurts the heart to accuse a dear man who cares about the citizens of the country of inciting against Haredi, and Rabbi Michi wrote an expansion about this at the time.

I didn't claim that Gamzo is inciting!! I just claimed that it's easier to organize against a cultural desire that has a religious cap like a trip to Uman and a wedding of the grandson of the Rebbe of Belza, and on the other hand, there's no one to open their mouths and whistle when there are demonstrations of tens of thousands in Balfour as every evening, where I didn't see Gamzo send a letter to Bogy Ya'alon and the media that follows the demonstrations with great warmth.

Dear Tam, consider the numbers, the Haredim are more contagious, deal with it.

תם. replied 5 years ago

In my opinion, we should simply kill all the Haredim, what do you say, Benjamin Guerlain? The reason is simple, the society they leave behind is frustrated for the rest of their lives, isn't that so, Benjamin Guerlain?! Besides the diseases they spread

I don't share the language of my fate. And the expression "ultra-Orthodox" is not to my liking. But I am hurting for something else. It really bothers me that they are turning a person who wants to eradicate the coronavirus into some ultra-Orthodox hater. I may be exaggerating, but I think there is even blasphemy in this when people from the side read the headlines and the Knesset members there who present Gamzo as an instigator, while any objective reader will be able to see that Gamzo didn't say anything anti-ultra-Orthodox. It's just a shame

תם. replied 5 years ago

David, do you have an explanation for why Roni Gamzo is not also acting against the demonstrations in Balfour?

דוד replied 5 years ago

Yes. Demonstrations are not within his jurisdiction. There is a ruling from the Supreme Court.

OK, you're basically claiming that there are currently crazy infection centers of tens of thousands every week and Roni Gamzo has nothing to do, so he's investing his strength in stopping the Bratslavs from coming out in such an effort. You understand how delusional this is, it's like the Supreme Court forbidding firefighters from using the tools at their disposal when the forest is on fire and they'll mess with some old woman at the end of the village who's lighting the fireplace to warm up a little and preventing her from doing so for fear of losing control of the small fire she has.
If Gamzo understands that as long as the Supreme Court allows anarchy that is spiraling and degrading us all into an endless health and economic abyss, he'll let go and say "Greater than Me" - it's a no-brainer for either me or the Supreme Court, but coming and messing with a group event as if anything will stand or fall on it doesn't seem like a clean and rational consideration.

These crazy demonstrations, as they happen every week, no one asks who will judge all those who will die (and have already died) because of the value of democracy so deeply held, both Haredim and Haredim, who continue and will continue to infect others at an exponential rate (they know what it is, of course, we are not talking about illiterate Haredim here)? What about the indirect damage of the hysteria that is being created here with the economic uncertainty? And what about the overload in hospitals (the failure to flatten the curve) that has been caused and will be caused as a result of this scandalous behavior? Who will judge the frivolous decisions regarding the rights of persons that were made with unbearable ease, by a million intelligent judges, out of a stupid worldview and with disastrous stupidity? And who will judge the terrible division in the people (and justified, this time) that has been created here as a result of this? Who will judge the unfortunate hamburgers who are locked up scared in crowded homes and without communication in nursing homes?
But the great wonder in my opinion is that the beating for sin is not so widespread in the liberal world itself. There are certain buds, Libeskind and Co., but self-examination of the roots of their worldview and way of life hardly occurs (although in my opinion there is also no chance of a blessed break in this world following the events, after we calm down a bit). It certainly does not happen in a public and orderly manner. The mantras about the “values of democracy” continue to be proclaimed on the streets of Tel Aviv and in all the media strongholds with all the infantile pathos as last year. It is no wonder that on the sidelines, the anarchist savages from the state of Tel Aviv continue their rampage against the legal systems (although in the Lafamilia against it there is a noticeable moderation. Apparently even madness and extreme stupidity such as they have have some limits).
Here, for example, is what an honest and brave journalist writes:
Manny Mautner, “Haaretz”, Tuesday, 2020.9.31
It was impossible not to freak out (yes, really) when I saw the TV report, which showed how President Hayut, the leader of the radical movement, decided not to limit the demonstrations with the beginning of the second wave. A young man approached her and said to her: “Madam, they are stealing our democracy. Should we give up the sacred anarchy for the sake of our democratic soul bird?” “No,” the 74-year-old lady said in less than a second. The young man turned around and passed on Mrs. Esti’s order, all to the peace groups, and the black flag protest began with pride. There are many problems in the process by which this fateful (yes, fateful) decision was made. Quickly, without consideration, or hesitation, out of deep fanaticism, embodied in a belief in one value, democracy, and an inability to accommodate other values and take them into account. But the main problem with this decision is the lack of solidarity inherent in it towards all other citizens of the country. After all, because of the debauched behavior of the protesters, in the end, they, who do not properly comply with the instructions of the Ministry of Health, will fill the hospitals en masse and clog them in a way that will prevent treatment from the Haredim who obeyed the instructions. This would not only be a lack of solidarity, but also a lack of justice. Much has been written in recent decades about the lack of solidarity of the left who do not enlist in the army, after all, pacifism is a value no less important than enlisting. This lack of solidarity is expressed in avoidance, in omission. But leftists who do not comply with the instructions of the Ministry of Health and gather in droves demonstrate an active lack of solidarity, in action. Their active behavior endangers the lives of many other Haredim, who are not Haredim — not because of the fear of infection, but because of the possible blockage of hospitals. True, one must always be careful with generalizations, and one must remember that the left, like any human group, is divided into many subgroups, and the vast majority of these subgroups complied with the isolation instructions. But one cannot help but think about the reckless manner in which the leader of the left, Mrs. Esti Hayut, acted, and of course with the full support of former chiefs of staff and other scholars, and one cannot help but think about the subgroups among the leftists, even if they are minority groups, who, even at this relatively late stage, still continue to act in a manner that violates the instructions. With the full support of the media that embraces them and accompanies every violation of business.
Of course, these events will harm the continuation of the welcome processes of integrating the Haredim into the institutions of civil society and politics. What to do about it does not convey seriousness.
But The great delusion is that Mr. Gamzo found it appropriate to place all his weight to save us from a final loss of control, on a marginal group of Breslov Hasidim whose soul bird is the trip to Uman.

If you think you did not write in Haaretz or in any of the Blatt, this is a small parody of the criticism that Rabbi Michi made of the Haredi society in the first wave, I took a sample and changed the actors, you easily do that with all his columns in which he attacked his Haredi cousins. I hope the message got through in this small part as well.

On the 4th of Elul 5722,

In a meeting of the leaders of the Breslov Hasidim with the Prime Minister, it was made clear to him that the camp in Uman is large and can accommodate many groups of worshippers in isolation. The Prime Minister was presented with an outline according to which travelers will undergo a corona test before the flight, upon arrival in Ukraine and upon their return to Israel. The occupancy in the synagogues will be 30% of the normal occupancy, and the prayer area will be completely separated from the rest of the city. A corona hotel will be established where those required to be in isolation will be concentrated, and a court will be established to ensure that violators of the instructions will not be able to access the ’Zion’. See the article: ‘Breslov Hasidim Come Out Encouraged’, on the ‘Channel 7’ website.

Past experience has taught us that dialogue and cooperation can enable religious activity to take place while maintaining the necessary health precautions.

With the blessing of ‘Gamzu Latuba’, Sh”T

In Elul 5771, there is a simple solution for the Jewish people. Netanyahu will travel to Uman for Rosh Hashanah. Thousands of protesters will of course travel with him, with the full approval of the High Court of Justice and the Corona Project, since the virus does not harm Shluchi Mitzvahs pursuing justice.

Breslov Hasidim will also be able to infiltrate the protesters, as long as they are not afraid of receiving murderous blows from the protesters. Some will shout against Bibi, and others will shout ‘Tate, Tatte’, and at the end of the day’ both sides will discover that the gap between them is not so great. All in all, everyone is looking forward to the &#8217end of the right’ 🙂

In anticipation of seeing the complete salvation, Sh Shem Shemesh Shmesh Shimshon Zvi from Kochav Hashachar
