Rules in Rama

שו”תCategory: Meta HalachaRules in Rama

Maran writes in the section 1 of the 1st paragraph: Whoever has eaten in one place — must recite a blessing before moving from his place. (Haga: and see above, section 18).
And if he leaves his place and does not bless, if it was intentional, he should return to his place and bless, and if he blessed in the place he remembered, he leaves.
Hedge: And according to the Maimonides, but according to the Rosh, if it is accidental, it will return to its original place — intentionally, even after the fact, it will not come out (Tur).
And if it was by mistake, the Rambam will recite the blessing in the place that was mentioned, and the Rabbis, our Lord Yonah, and the Rosh, will also return to their place and recite the blessing:
Did the Rema intend to rule in this way like the Rosh, or is it not necessary since he did not write “and thus is the essence,” or “and thus they practiced”?
thanks

I have no idea, and I don’t think anyone has a clue. You can try looking into the ways of Moses, if that interests you. I don’t deal with the rules of the Shulchan Arutz Sheva because that’s unnecessary for two reasons: 1. These rules are mostly baseless nonsense. 2. It doesn’t really matter what this or that rabbinic judge ruled. What matters is what I/you think.
