Sabbath
Hello,
My boss asks me to prepare drafts for him so he can work on them on Saturday and sends them back on Saturday for proofreading.
Is it allowed?
In my opinion, there is no prohibition. You prepare drafts for him at his request and he decides what to do with them and when. And even if you know he is a criminal, it is still his decision. It is not like a monk asking me to hand him a glass of wine across the river, since the monk has nothing else to do with the wine except drink it (you can of course pour it, but that is not a use). Beyond that, you are his employee and are supposed to obey his instructions. You probably don’t have to lose money (if you get fired) to keep him from committing crimes.
Thank you!
Regarding the end of the Rabbi's answer: As long as there is no fear of dismissal (for example, in the public service). And the loss that will be created by disobedience is mainly in the murky atmosphere that will prevail in labor relations and the like (that is, there is no financial loss “in sight”. There is a loss of “respect” and/or “normal relations”). However?
I wrote that I think so.
