Can you please recommend some insightful and horizon-broadening non-fiction books for the lay reader? Not necessarily philosophy, more like teen books. I saw that you recommended a book by Scott Aaronson, but I don’t know how much I’ll understand from the book, especially since the book costs about the same as the number of pages in it. Do you have any books in this style that have enriched your knowledge?

Hello.
This is too general a question. There are a lot of useful and interesting books, and it also depends on your interests, education, and inclinations. You need to start reading books and roll according to your understanding. There is no need to look for general algorithms.
