If it was a personal matter, then there is no problem. A certain person who did not enlist for justified reasons can sit in any forum as long as his thinking is businesslike. But when they represent a public that in principle does not enlist, it is a scandal that they are sitting there (it is of course a scandal even without that, because of their corruption, lies and parasitism). And when they decide to increase the reserve quota for the entire Jewish people and exempt their own people and make decisions about the course of the war and the fate of the kidnapped, it is an unheard of moral and halakhic low. Simply a collection of miserable scum. Ahab and Jeroboam were completely righteous in the face of these scum.
