Is this proof that it is forbidden to enter the sea during the Omer or is it just proof that it is better to stay away from sharks?

Reminds me of a story I heard years ago about Rabbi Kanievsky. A rabbi left his parents' car unlocked, and the car was stolen. He asked the rabbi what he should fix, and he was told: the car's locking issue.
It is best to avoid encounters with sharks during the Omer counting period, at least until Lag BaOmer.
