Sources

asked 10 months ago

Hello to the rabbi, when the rabbi claims that he thinks evolution is a correct theory, does the rabbi have sources for this from the early writings or at least earlier than the publication of Darwin’s book that suggest that evolution occurred, because what I know about the creation of man tells of how God created man from the dust in the Midrash of Psalms. At first glance, on second thought, he would be the king of kings, the servant, etc.
Good afternoon

I didn’t understand this strange question. Do you have evidence for the value of the gravitational constant or the theory of electromagnetic fields? Since when are scientific facts and facts in general determined by evidence from the first or from anyone else? Such things are decided by scientific tools, and these are full of evidence for evolution.

Since the theory of evolution apparently contradicts the simplicity of the Torah, sources should be provided that suggest that an evolutionary process could have occurred and that man was not created straight from the dust of the earth. If not, then who said that what is written is true? Every time something comes along that makes sense of the Torah, I will give my own interpretation of how it works out, which makes no sense.
Thank you very much and have a good week.

For every interpretation you offer, do you need to provide sources? How was the first interpretation created? Or every new interpretation?
Indeed, every time something doesn't work out, a new interpretation is sought.

Of course, it is possible to give new interpretations, but to base them on interpretations by the first who interpreted with the Holy Spirit that give room for such an interpretation, but if there are no places where the first or other people who interpreted with the Holy Spirit gave an interpretation that gives room for the interpretation, then it is a problem to give such an interpretation that seemingly contradicts what is written.
I hope my words are understandable, if not, I would be happy to know where so that I can clarify.

You have strange assumptions about the Holy Spirit of people that I don't accept. It seems to me that there is no point in discussing it.
