Study methods

Attached. Intended for “noon”.
I’m sure there are quite a few things in the Bible and in the body of the text that will make you smile.
I didn’t have the privilege of studying Gemara with you, but I’m not at all sure that you teach “Briskait”.
Do you have a defined method of study? Who are your masters from whom you acquired, if any, a method of study? And thought?
I don’t claim to be a Briskian, but there is no doubt that learning is orderly and structured – I was privileged, like a dog licking the sea, to learn from Rabbi HaRa’l.
Good Saturday,
Hello.
Thanks for the article. I too grew up on the lap of the Briskies and I’m still pretty much there (in my opinion, this is an essential first layer, but it’s equally essential to add a second, synthetic layer to it). I don’t have a specific rabbi, but I’ve studied and been influenced by many people, including the Ra’al, and even more writers (especially R. Sh. Shekap, who is my favorite, Tuba).
