Studying the books of faith of the Rambam and the Rassag
Is it worth studying the book “The Teacher of the Perplexed” in Beliefs and Opinions, etc., or is it about science and philosophy that has lost its relevance and is not relevant to our day?
A matter of taste. Most of the things there are less interesting to me and seem less relevant to me.
The rabbi can recommend a philosophical book that will leave an impression.
As I wrote, each to their own taste. In general, books on Israeli thought “don’t do it for me.” If you’re interested, you’ll have to form a taste on your own. Start reading books about philosophy, and if you find something interesting, you can focus more on actual philosophy books (source books).
