Suicide in a manner that is permissible and even obligatory
Is the one who asks a person to threaten him with death if he does not obey the commandments of the Lord obligated to surrender his life? This means that the one who asks is not guilty of anything, since there is no reason and when one is threatened, one fulfills the law of surrendering one’s life. If my words are sincere, I have found a solution for religious suicides… or is he walking in front of a blind man?
First, the one who threatens violates a prohibition. Second, the early scholars disagreed on the law of whether or not someone who introduces himself into rape is a rapist.
And why wasn't it rape? So he should pass and not be killed?
This strange chatter is not clear to me. It is clear that he will not pass over Ez. But killing him would be considered suicide and he did not gain anything.
In the Book of Tammuz 5771
In the Book of the Great it is stated that sages who wrote commentaries on the Book of Decoration and on Rabbenu Yerucham – died at a young age. Therefore, it is forbidden for someone who has reached the end of his life to begin writing a commentary on the Book of Decoration or on Rabbenu Yerucham. It is assumed that this occupation will certainly bring him a renewed interest in life that will free him from his depression 🙂
With blessings, the desire in life
And perhaps, instead of looking for permission to commit suicide, we will give the poor man permission to find joy and emotion in God's work, so that he will be aware that God loves him and watches over him with love and needs him to put into practice the talents hidden within him, for his own good and for the good of society as a whole. When he feels meaning in his life, he will not tire of them.
With best wishes, Sh”t
Absolutely. It's okay to lie to save a life. 🙂
(Although what you're saying isn't entirely a lie. He probably loves and watches over you – at least passively)
On the 4th of Tammuz 5771
What am I saying? What he says: ‘For the Lord your God is the one who goes with you; he will not fail you or forsake you’ (Deuteronomy 30:6)! And so they say in prayer: ‘Goodness, for your compassions never cease, and your lovingkindnesses never cease’. If the Almighty commands a person, it is a clear sign that he believes in him and in his destiny.

How is killing him considered suicide if there is no evidence? He is not his messenger even without rape.
What is a “religious suicide”?
A religious person is someone who trusts in’ right?
Someone who trusts in’ cannot make a decision to commit suicide.
Someone who has made a decision to commit suicide does not trust in’ but in himself and his decisions.
Rabbi Akiva said, "When will this verse come to me and we will recite Shema Yisrael and all the rest?" And he died.
Diogi,
You found a brilliant solution for someone who wants to commit suicide: have someone else kill him. Wow. How come they didn't think of this until now?!
I also have a solution for a Jew who wants to desecrate Shabbat: let him tell his friend to desecrate Shabbat for him.
What's your point: If he has a choice, then the prohibition passes to him. And if not (it's a machine that kills if you don't work), then I'll still commit suicide.
And by the way, there is an opinion among the Rishonim that there is a prohibition against inciting to commit a crime even without the law of mission. See Yad Ramah on the indifference to incitement.
That's it, I'm ending my part in this delusion.
Tobat another comment.
Regarding sending a messenger to do something wrong when the messenger is inadvertent, small, held to do it – incited) there is a messenger, and also in cases where it is not only a matter of law but punishment in the hands of God there is. See a short summary here:

Perhaps the rabbi missed the central point of suicide, which is that a person gives up his life for the sake of his God so that he will not worship other gods. The “brilliant solution” is that a person is not just content to endure his life in the permitted manner, but by doing so actually receives a very rare and very important mitzvah.
The blessing of Shabbat Shalom is full of correct thinking.
Mm, thanks for the Torah references.
The one who wants to commit suicide – can fulfill ‘a man who dies in a tent’, will devote himself to studying Torah in a delightful and joyful way, in a place and manner that his heart desires – and the pleasure in Torah will restore to him the joy of life.
With blessings, joy and gladness for life
