Jacob and Joseph meeting
In Parashat Vay-Gesh it is written that Joseph hugged and kissed Jacob, whose soul was with him, but Jacob did not, and everyone explains that the time for the Shema had come and he recited the Shema. How did Jacob know about the Shema? And even more so about its timing?
