Hello Rabbi
Regarding your proof from Taylor, isn’t it possible to say that the world that I do see, I see it precisely because of my eyes, so that by definition there would be a correspondence between the two. In other words, my seeing the world is a result of the evolutionary development of my eyes, and therefore of course I can trust what I see, because there is a definitional correspondence between the two?

That is, I do not trust evolution to have created a complete connection between how I see the world and how it really is, because there is really no guarantee of that if the goal of evolution is survival, but rather I trust evolution that the form of the world that I see thanks to the eyes I have is the form that is survival-friendly for me. In other words, the world that I am forced to deal with in order to survive is the world that my eyes reflect, not a world that I have to “adapt” to.
thanks

I addressed this. The question is, do you really not assume that the eyes accurately reflect reality but only present you with an image that is beneficial to your survival? If so, then the theological evidence is really not directed at you. See details in the fourth notebook, parts one and two.
