It is common to attribute the Book of Hohar to Rashbi or at least to his method… Beyond the realistic historical discussion on the matter, from a program perspective this seems a bit difficult, since the Zohar is very strict regarding halacha, while the Rashbi we know from the Talmud is actually very lenient many times…
That’s the least of the difficulties with this misidentification.
This is not a misidentification but a literary technique, to attribute some connection to a famous ancient personality. Other books have been attributed to Adam the First, Enoch, Abraham our father, and so on and so forth.
