The cosmological view

The principle of sufficient reason can speak of simple or complex objects. Even with simple objects, one can ask what the reason is for their existence, because nothing is created just like that. If you know that there are mechanisms that create objects, then there is no question about the reason for their existence, and then only if they are complex do you ask how this particular one was created. But that is a question of causality. In my opinion, the principle of sufficient reason also deals with objects that have always existed, not just those that were created. If they are special, the question arises as to why they are the way they are. Of course, if there is a mechanism that creates many objects, and each time something different, that can constitute a purpose. But then we must ask what the purpose of this mechanism is. This chain must stop at a link that does not require a purpose outside of itself. That is intrinsic and necessary to itself.
