Peace be upon our holy rabbi, may God bless him.
If the rabbi was interested in analyzing historical processes, I would be happy to understand why during the Golden Age, culture, philosophy, and science were integrated with the Torah, and a significant portion of the early ones were also familiar with the aforementioned wisdom, while during the Enlightenment, the aforementioned wisdom was perceived as a struggle between them and the Torah.
Is it the fault of the Ashkenazi rabbis who were primarily busy fighting against everything that comes out of the dry stream and not understanding its true reality, as this is how they behaved towards Hasidism, the Enlightenment, Zionism, and today the Internet, or is the blame for the rational-atheistic thinking about establishing a new philosophical and scientific stream that will free us from the church?

As far as I understand, both answers are correct, and perhaps there is an influence between them. Ancient science assumed the religious assumptions, and therefore religious thought did not see it as a problem. Aristotle on the Premises was a relative exception. Modern science adheres to facts and observation rather than metaphysical assumptions, and therefore a conflict was created. As a result, a defensive isolation was created by the Ashkenazi rabbinical leadership and also by Christianity, and in turn, the scientific rebellion against religious dogmas intensified, and so on.

What is unusual is the Golden Age, and for that you need to find an explanation, not the other way around.

And why is that?
