The laws of the universe – could they have existed forever?
Following the debate] Why not claim that the laws of nature have existed forever, and that they will stop the infinite regression of things that need a cause.
I saw your answer that every law needs a legislator. But I still don’t understand…because laws are not matter, they are true about matter, like the law of attraction.
And so, regarding the theological discursive claim [which does not address the fundamental question that the universe itself needs a cause – that is what the cosmological proof deals with], let’s say that matter was created at a certain stage, on a background of abstract laws that have existed since time immemorial. And by virtue of the combination between matter and the laws, the world and everything we know was created. These laws are God [who stops regression].
We need to stop the regression with something we don’t know, why don’t the laws of nature meet this definition, we know them well…they act on us…but they are not matter, and therefore they don’t need a cause…
I would love a detailed explanation because I had difficulty with this for a long time [even before I heard the debate].

You wrote: “The question is whether the laws of nature are real (and not whether they are matter). If so, and they created the world, then they are God”
A. So it is possible to claim that a set of certain laws are actually forces that have existed since time immemorial, and they are “God”?
B. Does this turn out to be the case?
C. Is it possible to explain with this the entire formation of the universe? ”A. Can it explain how matter was created?
The one who started the chain is defined as God. I didn't say anything about what he is. Is he a law (of any kind?), a demon, or a flying spaghetti monster.
