The Manifesto

I just read (again) your manifesto. I didn’t understand why the question of identity interests you so much (or me in general)?
Should the fact that my identity is ‘modern religious’ or ‘ultra-Orthodox’ or ‘religious Zionist’ affect his views or lifestyle?

It doesn’t interest me at all. The problem is that identity interests people and influences them. I described there that both identities greatly influence people (their entire lives are dictated by them: who they vote for, where they send their children to study, what literature and journalism they read, who they marry, which rabbis they ask), and so I thought that if you’re already operating within an identity, you should do so with the correct identity.
