The physicality of God
Hello, is it possible to prove that God is not material?
Why do we believe that he is not material? Is it written in the Torah? In a philosophical way?. Thank you!
It says “You have not seen a picture” and so on. In general, the revelations are not described as something visual. Beyond that, matter is perishable and not eternal. And in particular, since He created matter, it is therefore unlikely that He is made of it.
Excuse me, Rabbi, why didn't the Rabbi answer that the main evidence for the existence of God shows that He is not material (“not in our experience”)?
Anyone who believes because of the cosmological or physico-theological view must believe that God is not material, right?
Probably. Although, it is possible that there are physical objects that are not in our experience (such as quantum particles).
